David Lamoureux
Background and Early Life: My martial arts journey began in 2008, shortly after graduating high school. I started with ATA Taekwondo, where I competed in numerous tournaments, excelling in sparring, forms, and weapons forms. Within about three years, I earned my first-degree black belt.
Eager to expand my skills, I delved into jiu-jitsu, gaining four years of experience in the dojo and in tournaments. During the summers, I also trained in kickboxing and self-defense techniques through Krav Maga.
My passion then led me to Judo, the art of throwing your opponent, which I dedicated eight years to mastering at Fort Worth Judo Club, achieving my goal of learning how to throw different sized opponents.
Today, I’m proud to give back to the community by sharing my knowledge. I aim to blend traditional martial arts with practical applications, empowering others with skills that extend beyond the dojo.
Fighting career: I have won many tournaments in taekwondo, jiu-jitsu and judo. 2nd degree black in taekwondo, and 1st degree black in judo.
Favorite quote: "Learned a lot, a lot to learn."
